Social program

Inauguration and Reception : The opening ceremony of POLYCHAR 19 will be organized at Park Village Resort Hotel, Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu, Nepal at ca. 4:30 PM on March 20, 2011. The Short Course on Polymer Characterization will take place from 8:00 AM to 4:00PM on that day.

Excursions and Cultural Program : March 24 is planned only for excursions in Kathmandu Valley. A guided Tour for all the registered participants will be organized. Accompanying person’s program is also organized. A cultural program has been planned for March 23, after the closing ceremony, during the conference dinner.

Upon request, before and after the conference, tours to different places in Nepal (such as Pokhara, Chitwan, Nagarkot etc.) and outside (such as Tibet) can be arranged for our delegates.
